Win Every Day

"You have to love doing it. You have to get to a place where doing the work is the win and everything else is extra."

— Ryan Holiday

Redefine what it means to win.

Instead of the end result being the win, “doing the work” is the win.

Focus on doing the small, every day actions consistently (AKA winning).

“The work is the win” mindset makes living a healthy lifestyle more enjoyable and way more sustainable. It helps you focus on the now and be at peace.

You control showing up, not the results.

You control your mindset, not the results.

You control your effort, not the results.

Focus on what you can control (doing the work), not what you can’t control (the results).

The results are extra. Doing the work is the win. Win every day.

Feel Great

Steve: It would be nice if you work out, eat well, and get sleep.

You: Fine. I'll work out, eat well, and get sleep.

Steve: Oh, come on. You know what? No. See? That's not what I want.

You: You just said that you want me to work out, eat well, and get sleep!

Steve: I want you to WANT to work out, eat well, and get sleep!

The Breakup

I want you to WANT to feel great!

Rock a Nice Little Bod

DJ Khalid

You want a nice little bod? Stack wins!

You worked out? Win.

Followed your nutrition plan? Win!

Stopped after 3 cookies? WIN!

Showed yourself kindness & compassion? BIG TIME WIN!

Enjoy Life

Do you have to work out? Or do you get to workout?

Do you have to eat nutritious food? Or do you get to?

This simple mindset shift helps when I’m feeling like an ungrateful little bitch.

Nice Little Body of the Week

Hillary Duff

Hilary Buff (this photo is from 2021 but went viral in December 2023)

“Her first tip is working out in the morning, she told Women's Health, because during the holidays, ‘you feel like you spend all day eating and drinking, (so) it’s nice to get it out of the way and just know you did it.’ She tries to go to gyms that are open and have classes on the mornings of holidays.

‘Lifting weights, as a woman, is really important,’ she said. ‘It’s important for your bones. It’s important for us constantly being on our cell phones and our posture. I’m not talking like crazy heavy weights. You know, I’m not a bodybuilder. But it is nice to lift weights.’

‘I’m proud of my body. I’m proud that it’s produced three children for me. I’ve gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through.’”
